Our Legacy

Our Defender Transformation Philosophy

Why do we do what we do? It’s simple, really. We love the Defender, in all forms, and are committed to staying true to its unmistakeable charm.

This approach allows us to thoughtfully breathe new life into each creation, where every nut, bolt, and component is diligently replaced, upgraded, and refined, resulting in a driving experience that is nothing short of extraordinary.

Our Defenders emerge as immaculate purpose-built machines, but crucially still full of character.

Guy Gregory

From the moment “red car” were my first words, it seemed inevitable that cars would take center stage in my life. This passion extends to both classic and modern cars, encompasses all forms of driving and motorsport, but primarily revolves around what I conclude to be the ‘ideal’ car for any given purpose. In the case of the Defender, that can quickly become an extensive list.

Driving through the Spanish countryside in Sherman, my father’s iconic British Racing Green Defender 110 at the tender age of 12, sparked my imagination. Soon after, I delved into tinkering with Defenders of various kinds, gradually unraveling their quirks and finding ways to enhance them.

Fast forward a couple of decades, armed with an intimate knowledge of the Defender, I’ve been fortunate enough to fine-tune, tinker with, and revitalise to my heart’s content. Guided by the belief that there’s a Defender for everyone and that only the best will suffice (within the confines of good taste and, most importantly, character retention), I take on this endeavor with great pride and enthusiasm.
